Support for the Paulsen Family Mission to Africa
SPARE CHANGE DRIVE FOR PAULSEN MISSION
For the next week, RCS will be collecting change to help support the Paulsen family who will be leaving us to minister to God's people in Africa. If you would like to contribute, send coins (or dollars:)) over the course of the next week. On Friday the 24th, we will present the gift to the Paulsens as the boys spend their last day of school at RCS.

"The Paulsen family has two boys, Owen (10) and Parker (8) who have been attending RCS for the past 5 years. On September 27th, they will be flying to Burundi Africa to work with the local church there to develop and establish children’s ministry programs. They will be in Burundi for the next 3 years and will learn a new culture, as well as two new languages. The boys will be attending a private school in the capital city, Bujumbura, and are looking forward to making new friends and meeting new neighbors like Hippos and Crocodiles. The third youngest nation in the world, and one of the poorest, Burundi is in need of the life-giving hope that comes from Jesus Christ.”

Re-Imagining RCS
Last spring, RCS held several public meetings to identify areas of opportunity and improvement for the school. These meetings defined addition of a 4K program and space for specialty subjects as the most immediate need. On Monday, September 27 at 7:00 p.m., we will hold a meeting to report on progress to date and discuss next steps. All parents, staff, board members, and interested persons are invited to attend. Participants will be invited to join any of several project teams being formed. Questions may be directed to the school office or the Head of School.
Youth Extreme Olympic Kick Off
Sat., September 25th from 4-6 pm
All 5th through 8th Graders are invited.
Meet at Racine CRC Parking Lot (across from RCS)
We will be playing games, eating ice cream, and enjoy fellowship together.
