Registration and Tuition

We make every effort to keep tuition at an affordable level. We are blessed with excellent stewards of the school’s resources, including those who manage the RCS Endowment Fund, which assists parents each year with a sizable payout that goes directly towards offsetting tuition for all families. We understand that Christian education is a financial sacrifice for every family, and we are committed to doing everything that we can to help those who make the decision to entrust us with the education of their children.

Registration

RCS charges an annual, per family, non-refundable registration fee of $125 payable to Racine Christian School that should accompany each registration for admission.

For academic reasons, we usually do not accept registration for the current school year after the second semester of that year has passed, but we would be happy to discuss options with you at any time.

Tuition

RCS is happy to offer discounts to families who enroll multiple students. The most recent tuition information can be found by accessing our Tuition Schedule. Discounts are also provided for members of all supporting churches. Please contact the school to find out how your church can become a supporting church of RCS.

Tuition can be paid in one of three ways:

  1. A one-time (discounted) lump sum payment due in June.
  2. A nine-month installment plan with the first payment beginning in September.
  3. A twelve-month installment plan with the first payment beginning in June.

Financial Aid

We are happy to offer a variety of options for families considering RCS who are in need of some level of financial aid.

  1. The Christian Education Scholarship is offered to members of Racine Christian Reformed Church whose total RCS expenses exceed 8% of the family’s yearly income.
  2. The Proverbs 22:6 Scholarship is a single $500 annual scholarship available to minority students who demonstrate financial need.
  3. The Elizabeth Joosse Scholarship Memorial Fund is a privately-managed scholarship that awards $1,000 yearly to a student in need.
  4. The Community Scholarship is a privately-funded scholarship available to members of non-supporting churches. The amount available for this scholarship varies year to year and applicants are encouraged to apply before May 1st.
  5. The Christian Education Grant program is a privately-managed (hyphen) grant program run by the RCS School Board. This program works with every family who expresses interest in RCS, to (comma)evaluate and obtain the appropriate level of financial assistance needed.
  6. The State of Wisconsin also has a tax deduction program starting in 2014 for all families who pay for private instruction. Learn more about the Tax deduction program at WCRIS and please consult your tax professional for more information.

RCS is pleased to partner with FACTS Grant and Aid for all financial evaluations. Applications for scholarships and grants require a fee of $25.00 each year in which assistance is requested.

We'd love to hear from you.
